Tag and segment influencers

Tags are flat labels (one tag, many contacts). Segments are saved filters (many criteria, dynamic membership). Both are Brand-private and used in campaign targeting + reporting.

Tags

  • Flat labels you create: e.g. “VIP”, “Q3-2026”, “DACH-region”, “Best-converter”
  • Bulk-apply via CSV or in-app multi-select
  • Show on contact card with color coding

Segments

Dynamic groups defined by criteria:

  • “All influencers with tier ≥ Macro AND tag = VIP”
  • “All customers with LTV > $500 AND consent = granted”
  • “All employees in Department = Engineering AND status = active”

Membership refreshes nightly. Use segments for targeting campaigns or NPS surveys.

Targeting from CRM

Campaign creation lets you pick “Target = Segment X” instead of building filters from scratch. Saves time and ensures targeting matches your CRM taxonomy.

Hygiene

Aim for 10-20 high-signal tags + 5-10 segments. More than that and you lose the ability to remember what’s what.
