Approve or dispute deliverables

Content approval (script and draft stages) and payment are separate. You approve or request changes on submitted content, then press Pay to release escrow. Nothing releases on its own.

There are two separate gates on a Keepface campaign, and it helps to keep them apart:

  1. Content approval, a review of what the influencer plans to post
  2. Payment, the release of the escrow you locked at Start

Content approval

Influencers submit at two stages, script and draft, depending on what the campaign asks for. Each submission lands in the campaign for you to review, and you have two options:

  • Approve, the influencer moves on to the next stage or to posting
  • Request changes, the influencer gets your note and resubmits

Your note can be up to 5,000 characters, so use it. A specific note gets a specific fix.

What happens if you do not review

Nothing moves. Keepface nudges instead:

Time in “submitted”What Keepface does
2 daysReminder, plus a message in the campaign thread
4 daysInternal escalation so Keepface ops can chase it

Neither step approves, rejects or pays anything. The decision stays yours.

Paying

Payment is a separate action on the campaign’s Influencers tab.

  1. Open the campaign, go to Influencers
  2. Find the started row, it shows the locked amount
  3. Click Pay
  4. Confirm in the preview dialog

Every locked escrow row for that influencer releases and their wallet is credited. The influencer receives 80 percent of the released amount and Keepface keeps a 20 percent commission. The release is final.

Disputing

Dispute when the work clearly breaks the brief, not when it is simply not what you would have made.

  1. On the Influencers tab, find the row with the locked amount
  2. Click the Dispute control on the escrow chip
  3. Write the reason (between 5 and 1,000 characters)

The escrow row flips to disputed, the amount stays where it is, and a Keepface admin reviews and then either releases it to the influencer or refunds it to you. See Disputing an escrow hold.

Frequently asked questions

Is approving content the same as paying?

No. Approving a script or draft lets the influencer continue. The money only moves when you press Pay on that influencer's row, which releases their locked escrow.

What happens if I never review a submission?

Nothing releases. Keepface sends you a reminder once the submission has sat for two days and escalates it internally after four, but the platform never approves or pays on your behalf.

Can I still dispute after I pay?

No. A release is final and there is no automatic reversal. Dispute while the amount is still locked.
