Create one, from a campaign or a hashtag
Campaigns, Create, then Instant Report to paste links, or Hashtag Report to search by hashtag on Instagram and TikTok with a date range, a follower minimum and a daily top-up until the end date.
Both flows start in the same place: Campaigns, then the Create button, which opens a short menu. Under “Measure work already done” you get two rows.
Create an Instant Report from post links
- Open Campaigns and press Create, then Instant Report (“Paste post links, get the numbers”).
- Give it a report name. This one you type yourself, for example “Summer launch, Instagram”.
- Pick the brand it belongs to. Only brands in this workspace are offered, and you need at least one.
- Press Create report. You land straight on the report, because the next thing to do is paste links.
- Press Add post, paste your links (one per line, or a whole batch separated by spaces, commas or semicolons), and press Add posts.
The modal counts what it recognises before you submit, broken down by platform. The server stays the authority: a link the counter cannot read is still sent, and comes back rejected with its own reason (“not a link”, “unsupported platform”). Links already on the report are skipped rather than duplicated. A single batch takes up to 200 links.
You do not tell Keepface who published a post or what type it is. Both are worked out from the link, and the metrics are read off the post itself.
Create a Hashtag Report
- Open Campaigns, press Create, then Hashtag Report (“Find the posts by hashtag, keep watching daily”).
- Pick the brand.
- Type the hashtags, with or without the
#, separated by commas. Up to 5 spelling variants. - Pick the platforms. Instagram and TikTok are both on by default, and turning one off halves what the report can find.
- Optionally set a minimum followers. Leave it empty to accept every account that used the hashtag.
- Set Posted from (default: 30 days ago) and Keep watching until (default: 30 days out).
- Press Create and search.
There is no name field. The report names itself after the first hashtag, exactly as you typed it, so #KizilAy becomes “#KizilAy Report” rather than a folded-down version of it.
While the first search runs
The search runs in the background and the modal polls it, so the button reads “Searching…” rather than hanging. When it finishes you get the counts (“42 found, 17 added”) and are taken into the report. If nothing was added, the modal keeps you where you are, with the hashtag and the dates still in front of you and editable, and tells you which of the two reasons applied.
Plan limits for hashtag reports
Only hashtag-sourced reports carry these. They come from your Reporting plan.
| Plan | Hashtag reports | Active at once | Longest watch window |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Not included | 0 | 0 days |
| Starter | Included | 1 | 30 days |
| Growth | Included | 5 | 90 days |
| Enterprise | Included | No cap | No cap |
If you pick an end date further out than your plan allows, it is trimmed back to the maximum rather than refused. If you are already at your active limit, creation is refused with the count, and the message deliberately does not suggest retrying, because a quota cannot be cleared that way. Let one report reach its end date, or compare plans in Subscription tiers and features.

Frequently asked questions
How many hashtags can one report watch?
Up to 5. They are meant to be spelling variants of the same tag (summerlaunch, summer_launch), not five unrelated campaigns. Type them with or without the
Which platforms can a hashtag search cover?
Instagram and TikTok. Both are on by default. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and X posts can still be added to a report by pasting their links.
What is the difference between the two dates?
They do different jobs. "Posted from" reaches backwards, posts older than it are ignored. "Keep watching until" reaches forwards, the report tops itself up once a day until that date. Setting the end date to today quietly turns the daily top-up off.
The search finished and found nothing. What now?
The report was still created, so you can adjust and search again. If nothing was found at all, check the hashtag spelling and whether it exists on the platforms you picked. If posts were found but none were added, they fell outside your date range or under your follower minimum, so widen the dates or lower the minimum.
Why was my hashtag report refused with a plan message?
Hashtag reports are tier-gated, both on whether they are included at all and on how many can be active at once. A quota cannot be cleared by trying again, so compare plans in Billing.
