Read the report, influencers, posts and reach

An Instant Report opens on six summary tiles and a grid of influencer cards, you type what you paid each influencer and the cost per 1,000 views and cost per engagement appear, and anything nobody supplied stays a dash rather than a zero.

A report opens on its Influencers tab. That is the working surface: the summary, the influencer cards, and the table of posts.

The six tiles

TileWhat it countsWhat the sub-line adds
PostsLinks on the reportHow many have finished reading
InfluencersDistinct accounts the posts belong toHow many posts are carousels
EngagementLikes plus comments across all postsAverage engagement rate
ReachReach from insights screenshots onlyHow many of the posts it covers
PaidWhat you have entered, in the report’s currencyHow many influencers have a fee
Cost / engagementPaid divided by engagementThe same figure per post

Every figure here is derived from what is already on the screen. Nothing anybody has supplied becomes a zero: an unknown stays a dash, and the sub-line says what is missing.

Reach is the honest one to watch. It exists only where somebody uploaded insights, so the tile tells you how much of the report it actually covers (“from 4 of 17 posts”) instead of implying it is the whole picture.

The influencer cards

Each influencer gets a portrait card with their photo, name, handle and follower count. Underneath:

  • Views and engagement for everything they delivered, views first, because on a reel they dwarf everything else
  • A Paid box, in the report’s currency
  • The derived costs, which appear the moment you type a fee: cost per 1,000 views and cost per engagement

A metric nobody reported is left off the card rather than drawn as a zero. An empty Paid box means unknown, not free, and clearing it clears the fee rather than recording nothing spent.

The card says “per 1K views” and not “per 1K reached” on purpose. Reach is a different number, and Keepface does not hold it per influencer.

Pick the report’s currency once, from the selector above the cards. There are nine to choose from, and the choice applies to the whole report.

The posts table

Below the cards, every link with what was made of it: the post, the influencer, the platform and type, and the metrics. Sort by Newest, Top engagement or By influencer.

Open a post to reach its Post metrics panel, where you can correct or fill in likes, comments, shares, views, saves, reach, impressions and followers by hand. Leave a field empty and it stays unknown, shown as a dash. Engagement rate is recalculated when you save.

Insights screenshots and the number reader

Reach, impressions and saves are private to the influencer’s own insights screen. The way they get into a report is a screenshot.

  1. Open a post and press Add screenshots, we read the numbers off them.
  2. Pick one or several images. They upload and are read at the same time, so the previews appear while the numbers are still being worked out.
  3. Whatever is recognised fills the empty boxes only, and the panel lists which fields it filled.
  4. Check them, adjust anything that looks wrong, and save.

If nothing is recognised you are told to type the numbers in rather than left guessing. The reader knows the analytics screens of Instagram and Meta, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn and X.

Then the Reporting and AI Analysis tabs

The Influencers tab is where a report is built. The two tabs beside it are where it is read and shared:

Frequently asked questions

Why is Reach showing a dash?

Reach, impressions and saves live in the influencer's own insights screen and no scraper can reach them. Upload the insights screenshot on a post and the numbers are read off it. Until then the tile says "add insights screenshots".

Why is Cost / engagement a dash even though I entered some fees?

It only appears once every influencer on the report has a fee. A fee for two influencers measured against everyone's engagement would flatter the number badly, so it is withheld rather than estimated.

Can I mix currencies in one report?

No. A report has a single currency, picked at the top of the influencer cards, because the money column is one column and mixing would make every total meaningless.

Does the screenshot reader overwrite numbers I typed?

No. It only fills blanks. A number you typed is yours, and it is never quietly replaced.

Do I have to press save on the fees?

No. Amounts save themselves a moment after you stop typing, and the status next to the currency picker tells you where that stands.
