Which platforms and post types are covered
Reports read Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X links, hashtag search covers Instagram and TikTok only, and forecast figures exist for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
A report works out the platform, the post type and who published a post from the link alone. Six platforms are recognised.
What a link can be
| Platform | Links recognised | Post types |
|---|---|---|
| instagram.com, instagr.am | Photo, Reel, Story | |
| TikTok | tiktok.com | Video |
| YouTube | youtube.com, youtu.be | Video, Short |
| facebook.com, fb.com, fb.watch | Post, Reel / Video, Story | |
| linkedin.com, lnkd.in | Post, Video | |
| X | x.com, twitter.com, t.co | Post, Video |
Underneath, every platform stores the same three types, and each one only renames them. That is why a YouTube Short and an Instagram Reel group together in the charts.
Where each platform is read from
Instagram and TikTok links are read by the social scraper, as they always were. YouTube goes through the YouTube Data API. Facebook, LinkedIn and X were added in September 2026 and are read through a separate scrape step.
For all four newer platforms, thumbnails and profile pictures are copied into Keepface storage before they are cached, so a report you open months later still shows the images rather than expired links.
Hashtag search is Instagram and TikTok
A Hashtag Report can only search Instagram and TikTok, and both are on by default. That is a limit of hashtag search, not of the report: you can still paste Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn or X links into a hashtag report, and they are treated exactly like the ones the sweep found.
What each platform gives you
| Figure | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Likes, comments, views | The post itself, wherever the platform exposes them |
| Follower count | The influencer’s Keepface account if we hold one, otherwise read from the profile. Facebook and LinkedIn authors are resolved this way so engagement rate computes |
| Engagement rate | Calculated, and recalculated whenever you correct a number by hand |
| Reach, impressions, saves | Only from an insights screenshot you upload, on every platform |
| Forecast reach and views | Modelled for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Facebook, LinkedIn and X show a dash rather than borrowing another platform’s benchmark |
Nothing is filled in with an estimate. A figure Keepface cannot stand behind is shown as a dash. See Read the report and Calculate EMV, and what we don’t fake.
Insights screenshots across platforms
The screenshot reader knows the analytics screens of Instagram and Meta, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn and X, so an insights screenshot from any of them can fill the private numbers. It only ever fills boxes you left empty.

Frequently asked questions
Which platforms can I paste links from?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. A link from anywhere else comes back rejected as an unsupported platform.
Can a hashtag report search Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn or X?
No. Hashtag search covers Instagram and TikTok. Posts on the other four go into a report by pasting their links, including into a hashtag report.
Do old links using twitter.com still work?
Yes. twitter.com, x.com and t.co are all recognised, and rows stored as "twitter" are shown as X.
Why does a Facebook or LinkedIn post have no forecast figure?
Forecast reach and views are modelled for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube only. Rather than borrow another platform's numbers, the other three show a dash.
Does engagement rate work on the newer platforms?
Yes on Facebook and LinkedIn, where the author's follower count is resolved so the rate can be computed. Elsewhere it depends on what the post itself exposes.
