What an Instant Report is

An Instant Report is a report-only campaign, you either paste the post links or let Keepface find them by hashtag, and it reads through the same Reporting and AI Analysis tabs as a real campaign.

An Instant Report is a report that exists without a campaign behind it. You name it, pick the brand, and then either paste the post links or let Keepface find the posts by hashtag. Nothing has to be briefed, recruited, approved or paid through Keepface first.

Two ways to fill one

Entry pointWhat it asks forWhat it does
Instant ReportA name and a brandYou paste post links, one or a batch, and Keepface reads each one
Hashtag ReportHashtags, platforms, a date rangeKeepface searches for the posts, then tops the report up once a day until the end date

Both create the same kind of row. They sit in the same Campaigns list, open on the same screen, and feed the same reporting. They are two separate entry points because they ask for different things and are gated differently: see Create one, from a campaign or a hashtag.

What a report does not have

A report measures something that already happened, so the tabs that exist to make something happen are removed outright rather than shown locked:

  • No Brief, there is nothing to write
  • No Recruitment, there is nobody to invite
  • No Approvals, the content is already published
  • No Sales or Barter, no money moves through the report

What is left is the three surfaces that read posts: Influencers, Reporting and AI Analysis. Opening the report takes you straight to Influencers, which is where a report starts.

The roster is whatever the posts say

A campaign knows its influencers before any content exists. A report works the other way around: you supply links or a hashtag, Keepface resolves who published each post, and the influencer list is folded off that. If two posts belong to the same account, they collapse into one influencer card.

That also means a report can surface influencers you have never worked with. On a hashtag report, that is often the point.

What it costs you

  • Reporting must be included in your plan. The Free plan has no Reporting, so report creation is refused there.
  • A report counts as a tracked campaign, so it sits under the same tracked-campaign ceiling as a real campaign.
  • A link-based Instant Report costs nothing to leave open, because nothing runs for it once the links are read.
  • A Hashtag Report pays for a search every day it stays on, which is why it has its own plan limits and its own pause switch. See While it runs.

Where to go next

  1. Create one, from a campaign or a hashtag
  2. While it runs, status, pause, resume and extend
  3. Read the report
  4. Which platforms and post types are covered

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an Instant Report and a campaign report?

A campaign report measures a campaign you ran on Keepface, with a brief, recruitment, approvals and payouts behind it. An Instant Report measures posts that already exist anywhere, so it has none of those steps. Both end up in the same Campaigns list and both read through the same Reporting and AI Analysis tabs.

Do I need to invite or recruit the influencers first?

No. A report has no roster of its own. The cast is whoever the posts turn out to belong to, resolved from the links or from the hashtag search.

Is an Instant Report free?

It is included wherever Reporting is included in your plan, and it counts against your tracked-campaign limit. The Free plan has no Reporting at all. Hashtag-sourced reports are gated separately because every day they run costs scraper time.

Can I report on posts that were never part of any campaign?

Yes. That is the whole point. Organic posts, agency work, posts from another platform or a campaign you ran off Keepface all measure the same way.
