Set your workspace up from your website or Instagram

When you create a company workspace you can add your website or your Instagram handle, and Keepface reads it once to fill in your logo, industry and description, leaving anything you typed yourself untouched.

When you create a company workspace, the dialog can ask for one more thing after the name: your company website or Instagram. It is optional. If you give it, Keepface reads it once and fills in the parts of your brand profile it can work out for itself.

What you can type in the box

You typeWhat happens
lumea.az, https://lumea.azTreated as a website and read from our own network.
@lumea, lumea, instagram.com/lumeaTreated as an Instagram handle, stored as a bare lowercase handle.
A Facebook, TikTok, X or LinkedIn profileRefused by name. We cannot read those today.
Anything that is not a registrable nameRefused as junk, so nothing is fetched.

A handle is never written into a website field, and a website is never written into the Instagram field.

What it fills in

Only these, and only when the field is still empty:

  • Logo, copied onto Keepface media hosting so your panel and your outreach have a stable image
  • Industry, chosen from the same industry list your workspace profile uses
  • Description, what your site or your Instagram bio says about you

Your company name is never touched. Anything you type in settings while the reading is still running wins over anything we read.

What you see afterwards

Open Onboarding in your workspace. While the job runs, the card says “Reading your site…” (or “Reading your Instagram account…”) and names the source. When it lands it becomes “We set up your profile from …” and shows the logo, the industry and the description it filled.

If it could not read your site or your account, the card says so plainly and points you at settings. A failed reading never blocks the workspace, which exists and works either way.

If the Strategy Board is open for your workspace

The same setup also starts a Strategy Board for the new workspace and runs its first analysis, so the board is already part-way through when you open it. The onboarding card then shows an Open your growth strategy button.

That only happens for workspaces in the Strategy Board rollout, see What the Strategy Board is.

Correcting what it read

Everything the setup filled is an ordinary profile field. Change it from Settings in your workspace at any time. If the Strategy Board already used a wrong fact, you can also correct it on the board itself, see Correct the plan and what that changes.

Frequently asked questions

What if my brand has no website?

Type your Instagram instead. An @handle, a bare handle or an instagram.com profile link all work. With a handle we fetch no web page at all, we read the Instagram account we already hold, and the avatar, bio and account name stand in for the site.

Will it overwrite something I already filled in?

No. Only empty fields are filled, and each write re-checks that the field is still empty at the moment it lands. Your company name is never touched, it is always the one you typed.

Can I give a Facebook, TikTok or LinkedIn profile?

Not today. Those are refused by name rather than half-read. The box takes a website or an Instagram profile.

Where can I see what it filled in?

On the onboarding page in your workspace. The card says what it read and from where, shows the logo, industry and description it filled, and links to settings so you can correct any of it.

Is the setup field always shown?

No. Like the Strategy Board it is being rolled out per user. If you do not see a website box in the create-workspace dialog, your account is not in the rollout yet.
