Bonus balance and how promo packages work
Promo packages give you bonus KPC on top of paid KPC. Bonus KPC spends just like paid KPC but never withdraws. It's consumed first (FIFO) when you spend.
How bonus KPC behaves
- Spendable anywhere paid KPC spends, outreach, unlocks, escrow lock
- Consumed first when you spend (FIFO), preserves paid balance for refundability
- Not withdrawable, only paid KPC can convert to fiat for payout
Why we structure it this way
Bonus is a promotional incentive, meant to drive activity, not a refundable deposit. If we let bonus withdraw, it’d be cash equivalent and our promo math breaks. By making it spend-only, we can offer generous bonus rates (5-15%) sustainably.

Wallet displays paid + bonus separately. Each brand_topup_bonus ledger entry is tagged so you can see promo history.
