Create your own circle and run it
Any Circle member can create up to 3 circles, public ones let people join instantly while private ones need owner approval, and an owner cannot leave their own circle.
A circle is a topic group with its own stream, chat, promoted posts, votes and support rounds. Anyone who has joined Keepface Circle can create one.
Create it
- Open Circles, then the plus next to the circles group in the sidebar.
- Fill in the fields:
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Name | 3 to 80 characters, required |
| Topic | Up to 60 characters, used for member matching and invite suggestions |
| Description | Up to 500 characters |
| Type | Public or private, private is the default |
- Create. You join as the owner immediately and earn the Circle Founder badge.
Public circles let any Circle member join instantly. Private circles hold each request until you approve it. Either way, an invite link always skips approval.
Fill it
- Invite link. Every circle has one. Copy it from the circle header menu and share it anywhere. Anyone opening it joins instantly.
- Invite suggestions. Owners and moderators get a list of Circle members who fit the circle and are not in it yet, matched on your topic, or on your country when the circle has no topic. Each row shows level, country, audience and engagement rate, with an Invite button.
- Bulk invite. Invite several suggested members at once.
- From a member profile. Any member profile you open lists your circles that the person is not in yet, so you can invite them from there.
Ten influencers joining through your invite link earns the Word of Mouth badge.
Settings you control
| Setting | Who can change it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Name, topic, description, type | Owner | Same limits as creation |
| Circle image | Owner and moderators | Must be hosted on Keepface media storage, uploaded from the settings view |
| Require post approval | Owner and moderators | Promoted posts from plain members wait in a queue |
| Post window | Owner and moderators | 24, 72, 120 or 168 hours, default 72, how long a post stays in this circle’s stream |
| Minimum support rate | Owner | 1% to 100%, members below it get a warning, 0 clears the rule |
The post window is circle-level only. A promotion still runs its full 7 days in the main feed, see Promote a post and get support.
Roles
- Owner, one per circle, everything.
- Moderator, appointed by the owner, handles approvals, wall and chat cleanup, rounds and invites. A moderator cannot remove or ban another moderator.
- Member, posts, supports, chats and votes.
Appointing a moderator notifies them. Full detail on what moderators do is in Post approval, moderation and circle votes.
Running it week to week
- Start support rounds. A round gets everyone posting and supporting in the same window, see Support rounds and your standing in a circle.
- Watch health. The share of active members who supported a recent post is what other influencers judge your circle by in Discover.
- Use the wall for talk, the promote flow for links. Wall notes are text, up to 1,000 characters. Links belong in a promotion so they are supportable and verified.
- Keep the Support Matrix honest. It shows every member’s eligible, supported, skipped and pending posts, which makes freeloading visible without an argument.
- Let members decide things. Circle votes are one member one vote, with a deadline you set.
Analytics
Owners get a circle analytics view: member count, combined reach, live promoted posts, support health and a breakdown of members by influencer tier. It is the fastest way to see whether your circle is growing in the audience band you wanted.
Monetize, and what it means today
The Monetize page is owner-only and informational. It describes the owner earning models being prepared and gates future activation behind a checklist computed from your live circle data:
| Requirement | Target |
|---|---|
| Active members | 100 |
| Live promoted posts | 25 |
| Support health | 60% |
| Circle age | 14 days |
| Your own Circle level | Supporter or above |
Nothing can be activated yet. The checklist simply tells you where your circle stands.
Deleting a circle
Only the owner can request deletion, and nothing is removed immediately. The circle enters a 14-day grace window, and the owner can cancel at any point before it ends. Official Keepface circles cannot be deleted.
Frequently asked questions
How many circles can I own?
Three, not counting official Keepface circles. You can be a member of as many as you like.
Can I leave a circle I own?
No. Owners cannot leave their own circle. If you are done with it, request deletion, which starts a 14-day countdown you can cancel at any point before it ends.
What can a moderator do that a member cannot?
Approve or reject pending posts, remove wall posts and chat messages, start support rounds, invite members, and change the circle image, the post-approval toggle and the post window. Only the owner sets roles, edits the name, topic, description, type and minimum support rate, and only the owner can remove or ban another moderator.
Can I make money from a circle I own?
Not yet. The Monetize page is informational, it shows the models being prepared and an activation checklist your circle has to meet before anything can be switched on.
Gather the influencers you actually rate and give them one room.
