Deadlines and grace periods
Submit by the deadline. Most campaigns include a 24-72 hour grace window; communicate before the deadline if you'll be late, and most brands extend.
What the deadline means
Final hard date by which the deliverable must be submitted on Keepface, not just posted. Submitting opens the brand’s 7-day approval clock.
Grace period
If the brand opted into grace (most do), you have a 24-72 hour buffer. Within grace:
- Submission still counts as on-time
- Brand keeps full dispute rights (no auto-acceptance)
Beyond grace:
- Brand can dispute purely on timeliness
- Escrow refund is possible if the deliverable is now too late to be valuable
Communicate
If something’s going wrong, message the brand before the deadline, not after. Most brands grant an extension for transparent communication; few grant it for radio silence.
Repeated slips
Multiple late submissions across campaigns affect your reputation score, fewer brands invite, lower-tier campaigns offered. Not a single-event penalty; a pattern penalty.
