Accept or decline (and how to decline well)

Accept opens the campaign and (for Escrow mode) locks the budget for you. Decline closes the thread; optional reason helps your match quality. Counter sends an alternate offer.

Accept

  • Locks the deal, you commit to the brief and deadline
  • In Escrow / Managed mode, the budget locks immediately so the brand can’t pull it
  • The campaign chat opens for any further coordination

Decline

Click Decline → optionally provide a reason from the dropdown (budget, scope, timing, exclusivity, other). Reasons stay private to Keepface, the brand sees a generic “declined” status but not the why.

Why give a reason? It trains our matching system. Decline because budget too low → you’ll see fewer low-budget invites from similar brands.

Counter

Use the chat instead of declining. Send a counter-offer for budget, deadline, or scope. The brand can accept, counter back, or withdraw. No state lock during counter discussion.

Don’t ghost

Letting an invitation expire silently hurts your match score. A clear decline takes 10 seconds and keeps your reputation clean.

After accept

Submit by the deadline. Submit on Keepface (not just on the social platform) so the approval clock starts.
