Why your profile may be private_seed

private_seed means a brand pre-added you to their CRM. Self-claim from your invitation email to enter the public marketplace, or stay private if you prefer brand-direct contact only.

What it means

A brand had you on their list before you registered with Keepface. They added your social handle to their CRM, Keepface created a placeholder profile for you, marked private_seed=true (invisible to public discovery), and sent you an invitation email.

Until you self-claim, only the inviting brand can see and contact you. You don’t appear in marketplace lists, search, or other brands’ searches.

Why this exists

It lets brands maintain their existing influencer relationships inside Keepface without dragging you into public discovery if you’d rather not be there.

Self-claim

The invitation email has a one-click claim link. Once you claim, you can:

  • Stay private, keep the profile invisible, work only with the inviting brand
  • Go public, flip visibility, enter marketplace, become discoverable to all brands

Decline

You can ignore the invitation. Your placeholder profile expires after 90 days of no engagement. The brand still has their CRM record but can no longer reach you via Keepface.
