KPC next to fiat, and which balance pays for what
Keepcoin pays for what Keepface sells (outreach, unlocks, AI analysis) while fiat balances pay influencers through campaigns and escrow, and subscriptions are charged to your card instead.
A Keepface wallet holds several balances at once: Keepcoin plus whichever fiat currencies you have used. They never convert on their own, and each one has a job.
Which balance pays for what
| What you are paying for | Which balance | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Outreach to an influencer | KPC | Priced by Keepface, same price for every brand |
| Intelligence Unlock on a profile | KPC | Priced by Keepface |
| AI Content Analysis past the free grant | KPC | Priced by Keepface |
| Campaign fixed payments and escrow | The campaign currency | The influencer is paid in real money |
| Product tiers and add-ons | Neither, it is your card | Subscriptions go through Stripe and never touch the wallet |
Keepcoin
Fixed at 1 KPC to 1 USD. It is what you top up into, and what everything Keepface sells is priced in. It does not expire. A brand cannot withdraw Keepcoin to a bank account, and the bonus part of a Keepcoin balance cannot even be converted.
Full detail in KPC explained.
Fiat
Fiat balances hold real currency for paying influencers. They appear the first time you top up or earn in that currency, so you never pre-create them.
Campaign money is denominated in the campaign’s currency, which follows the brand rather than being chosen per campaign. If you hold the wrong currency when it is time to lock a budget, you convert.
Moving between them
Converting is deliberate and it costs the 2% FX spread. Two rules are worth knowing before you convert:
- Only paid Keepcoin converts. A brand converting out of KPC spends the paid balance only, so a promotion cannot be turned into a fiat balance through a conversion.
- Funding a campaign from Keepcoin is not a market conversion. Keepcoin is pegged to the dollar, so moving Keepcoin into a campaign inside the platform does not carry a spread. Crossing into a different currency does.
Worked example
A brand holds 1,200 KPC (1,000 paid and 200 bonus) and no fiat, and wants to run a EUR campaign with a EUR 500 budget while also sending outreach:
- Outreach is charged in KPC. The bonus 200 KPC is spent first, then the paid balance.
- The EUR 500 budget cannot come out of KPC directly. The brand converts paid Keepcoin into EUR, paying the 2% spread on that conversion.
- The EUR balance funds the escrow lock, and the influencer is paid in EUR.
- The brand’s subscription renews separately on the card, changing none of the above.

Frequently asked questions
Why did a charge come out of Keepcoin and not my USD balance?
Because it was something Keepface sells. Outreach, profile unlocks and AI Content Analysis are always priced and charged in Keepcoin. Money paid to an influencer moves in the campaign currency instead.
My campaign is in EUR but my Keepcoin balance is full. Will it fund?
Not by itself. Campaign money moves in the campaign currency, so you either hold EUR or convert paid Keepcoin into EUR first, at the 2% FX spread.
Does my subscription come out of the wallet?
No. Product tiers and add-ons are billed to your card through Stripe. A funded wallet will not pay an overdue subscription, and a subscription charge never reduces your balance.
Do the balances convert into each other automatically?
No. Currencies sit in parallel and only move when you convert them deliberately.
