Why HRIS sync matters
Without it, every new hire is a CSV upload and every offboard a manual privacy review. With it, both happen automatically and your EA program scales without ongoing HR overhead.
Connect
- Workspace settings → Integrations → HRIS → pick provider
- Paste API credentials (per-provider instructions in the modal)
- Run first sync, pulls the full active directory
- Daily cron runs at 02:00 Asia/Baku for incremental sync
What’s read
- Name, work email, job title, department, manager, location
- Active/inactive status (offboards trigger PII auto-purge)
What’s never read: salary, performance reviews, personal email, sensitive HR fields.
What happens on offboard
When HRIS marks an employee inactive, Keepface:
- Removes them from active EA pools immediately (no new post invites)
- Holds their record in a 90-day grace window (in case they’re rehired)
- Auto-purges all PII after 90 days, only an anonymized aggregate (post count, share count) remains for reporting
