What is an influencer tier
Tiers are audience-size bands, Pico 0-1K, Nano 1-5K, Micro 5-50K, Medium 50-100K, Macro 100K-1M, Mega 1M+. They drive list filtering, pricing, compensation defaults, and matching.
The six tiers
| Tier | Followers | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Pico | 0-1K | Hyper-niche communities, high engagement |
| Nano | 1K-5K | High trust, low cost, micro-region campaigns |
| Micro | 5K-50K | Reach × authenticity sweet spot for most campaigns |
| Medium | 50K-100K | Bridge between micro authenticity and macro reach |
| Macro | 100K-1M | Broad-audience campaigns, brand awareness |
| Mega | 1M+ | Celebrity-scale reach, premium pricing |
Why tiers matter
- Pricing, Intelligence Unlock cost scales with tier
- Targeting, campaigns filter by tier ranges
- Compensation defaults, suggested per-deliverable rates by tier × country
- Matching, Keepface’s anti-skew logic ensures a Macro list isn’t filled with Mega influencers
Tier is auto-detected
We pull follower counts from the influencer’s connected platforms and classify automatically. Multi-platform influencers are tiered by their largest platform’s followers.
